Nexus / Deployment simulator
Run a deployment and see what comes back
Tell it the water and the duration. It runs the same threshold, compression, and link models the reference runs use, one second at a time, and shows what an operator would see arrive in Nexus: the events that crossed a trigger, how far the data was compressed, and what it cost the battery.
This is a calculator you can check, not the operator software. The live product is at demo.aphoticlab.com. For the interface itself, see the Nexus overview.

- -The per-second engine runs in a sandboxed Web Worker, off the main thread. It has no network access, no dynamic code, and one deterministic input, the seed.
- -The pseudo-random generator is fast and non-cryptographic, used only to make runs reproducible. It is never a security primitive.
- -Modeled report and frame sizes include the node's authenticated-encryption envelope (ChaCha20-Poly1305 tag plus transmitted nonce), so the data volume shown is for sealed reports, not plaintext.
Every number here is computed in your browser from the same models the reference runs use. It is a calibrated re-simulation, not the C++ replayed exactly: the reference generators are not portable and each published run is one seeded realization. Ports: apps/demo.cpp (environmental scenario and batching), src/monitor.cpp (per-parameter hysteresis), src/compression.cpp (structural packing byte layout), aphotic_sim.py (acoustic contact detection), link-economics.html (link and energy economics).
